First post in a while

Hi people (yes, I do have faith in that someone actually reads this). I've finally found time to update my blog :D The time was pretty much found in my sleeping hours so tomorrow is going to be fun.. Anyways, I have obviously had a lot to do lately as I arrived in Belgium just a week ago or so. And since then We've had French classes etc. But now I'm back and I'll try to be more frequent with the updates from now on. I'm sorry but you will have to wait for another few days for my summer photo album, but trust me it will come soon. But I've started a small project, kinda small anyways. I'm going to take a photo of my self, every day, for a whole year. Why? You might ask, to be honest, I've got no clue. But I'm going to stay away for almost a year and people say it's a long time, so I will try to see how much happens/how much I change during a year :D To follow the project you can go to the Picassa Photo album located here where I will post the photos. Here is a slide show of the two pictures I've got so far (pretty useless I know, I just want to test it :P):
I've also got some video I've taped down here, might post that too, eventually take some more and then post. Then I could finally use my youtube account for something useful :D

Tomorrow is first day of school for me :D Looking forward to meeting new people but classes will probably be hard :S

But over to something completely different(ooops, geek alert). Today Opera launched it's new web browser; Opera 10! And as the good Opera fan I am I have already downloaded it for both my operating systems. For those of you who don't know what Opera is, it is a so called web-browser which essentially means that it opens web pages. Like Internet Explorer, just faster, safer and simply better. So here is a brief review: In Opera 10 you have a small bar bellow your tabs, drag this tab downwards and, voila, small thumbnails for all your tabs. Pretty neat. Another thing is the new skin, a lot better than the 9.8 skin which was supposed to look like Vista I think but it had a colour palette which made no sense and looked ugly. The now one is a lot less eye-raping and blends nicely with most web pages(however I'm still a fan of the Windows Native skin). Another new feature is the Turbo option, this is an option which makes all the pages route through an Opera proxy where images is compressed before they're sent to you, meaning, for you less tech savvy(which I've probably lost already :P), that it goes faster. However the server takes some time to process and the images are not the same quality as they where but it is certainly faster on low speed/low signal nets. And for those who use, or consider to switch to Opera, but is annoyed that some pages are not compatible(Facebook have had it's problems). Look no further, I've found a small plugin which allows you too let Opera render the webpages as IE (or Firefox) would. So now you wont have to switch anymore :D You can find it here, along with a lot of other practical buttons for Opera: http://operawiki.info/CustomButtons#webdev Just remember to install the plugin. The only ting I can think of which you should be able to do is adding more speed dial buttons from a menu so that you wont have to manipulate the settings file yourself like this: http://cybernetnews.com/helpful-tip-add-more-speed-dials-in-opera-95/ Totally worth to check out ;)

Anyways, hope I'll be able to post again soon. Until then, you could comment on this post ;)
